A lot of people find it very difficult to come to God. Jesus pointed this out when the rich young ruler was unwilling to set aside his wealth for the sake of God’s kingdom. And yet there was a group of people that had no problem coming to Jesus straight away: children. Many times, in parables or in real-life examples, Jesus explained how God loves and cares for us as children, with patience and compassion. If only we approached him in the same way, all those perceived obstacles would fall away.
