There are several occasions where the Gospels tell that Jesus acted passionately or emotionally. One of those occasions was the Passover meal he shared with his disciples the night before he died. Commonly known as the Last Supper, Christian congregations have commemorated that occasion from the very early days of the Church. We’ve come to know it as the Lord’s Supper.
