The apostle Paul had a lot of accomplishments he could boast about, but he put no stock in human credentials. His goal was knowing Christ, and in his letter to the Philippians he detailed a surprising number of things he expected to accomplish by pursuing that goal. These spiritual accomplishments culminated in resurrection, and not just on some future day. This was for the here and now.
