We sometimes make the distinction between joy, as a deeply spiritual thing, and happiness, as a merely secular thing. But the words for joy, happiness, delight, gladness, are used interchangeably throughout the Bible. There’s nothing spiritually “special” about any of them. Besides, God is the source of happiness for believers and unbelievers alike. Listen as Marc takes us through many many places in the Bible where God directs us toward happiness.
