You’ve probably heard or read Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And who doesn’t want to see good things come their way by God’s hand? Yet so often we get distracted by promises of blessing that we lose sight of the One who brings the blessing.
