Peter asks “Why do we worship, pray, or follow Jesus? What do we tell people as reasons to receive the gospel message?” He goes on to describe how our focus should be on God and for His glory not for what we receive or the blessings He gives to us. He describes the four characteristics of God: He is Creator, He is the Lord, He is the Redeemer, and He is the Risen One. Each of these characteristics is a testimony as to who God is and why He is worthy of us to follow Him.
