As Israel of old, we often struggle to force out the sinful “Canaanites” in our lives, choosing instead to subject them to forced labour, which causes us to fail at practically possessing all the blessings we have been given by God.

Today, be strong and courageous in the fight against sin! It is the Lord who fights for you.
