Project Management

Today’s Reading: Nehemiah 4:1-23; 5:1-19; 6:1-16

Here comes one of my favorite bible verse – Neh 6:3 – “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?”

Do you feel that you got so much on your plate? Do you feel that you got so much to complete, but you are so limited? Do you feel you are challenged as to which one you have to do first among thousands of stuff to do? I do.

The above verse always reminds me to determine my priority, which will guide my capacity. Whenever I am to do something, I must ask – “is this a project that God gives me to do today?” if the answer is no, I am reminded of this verse and say “no”. If the task aligns with what God wants me to do, then I go ahead. It does clear up your time quite a bit. However, in order to hear God’s direction in your life, you need to open your heart, ears and to wait upon His timing.

Are you carrying on a great project for your God? Then, say “no” to all others and your life will become so much more manageable.
