Numbering Our Days

Today’s Reading: Psalm 1; 14-15; 36-37; 39

“Show me, O Lord, my life’s end
and the number of my days;
Let me know how fleeting is my life.”
(Psalm 39:4)

O the first day of my grade 11 math class, my teacher explained to us that if you live to the age of 75, you will have lived 27,375 days.

Approaching the age of 27, I’ve lived about 9,855 days now, and have 17,520 days left until I’m 75. That’s not many days! And today will soon be over. With this in mind, I want to make the most of my day; what about you?
