Today’s Reading: Revelation 4:1-8:6

Good morning (and good afternoon to our friends on the other side of the world)! I trust you’re all trying to finish well in the readings.

Revelation contains many hard passages that are hard to understand. Much of what it describes will take place after the rapture of the Church in a seven year period called the “Tribulation.” It is during this short time that the Seal Judgments, and those after them, take place.

Sadly, as God’s judgments progress and pick up speed, mankind’s heart is hardened even further. Instead of repenting, they continue to defy and reject God, even asking the mountains to kill them rather than letting God in His wrath do it.

These passages ought to encourage us to share Christ with others more right now, while making us more thankful to God for promising to keep us from the tribulation and its horrors.
