Today’s reading: 2 Kings 25:23, 24, 26; Jeremiah 40:7-16; 41:1-18; 42:1-22; 43:1-13; 44:1-30; 51:64b
Why ask if you will not listen? Why ask God if you will not obey? God’s command is not one of your “options” to choose from! When you ask for direction, then you obey. In fact, if you ask “God, tell me what I should do, but remember your answer is one of possible options for me to do, don’t get your hope up”. Do you really think God will tell you anything?
I can relate to Jeremiah today so closely. At my work, people ask questions to me about my expertise; then, they disregard answers. I usually tell them not to take my advice – what is the use? You waste my time and you waste your money!
Don’t complain God is not showing your direction; but, pray that you will OBEY his command when God gives his direction in your life FIRST.
Have a great long weekend!
