Today’s Reading: Matthew 1:1-17; Luke 3:23-38

Genealogies are always important, but today’s is the most important of all! It shows that Jesus is the rightful heir to the throne of David; the fulfillment of the great covenants to Abraham and David; and the Saviour of the world!

He is the Messiah, no doubts about it, and therefore He is worthy of our obedience and homage.
