Today Rob continued the “Foundations of Faith” series, addressing the question “Who are we?” by centering on Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 19, where he points back to Genesis to answer a question about marriage and divorce. He argues that human identity is rooted in being made in the image of God. He challenges both young people to build their lives on solid Christian truth rather than subtle cultural lies, and older believers to ensure they’re living out a complete, Jesus-centered faith rather than a merely doctrinal one. The image of God, he emphasizes, carries inherent dignity for all people and this truth has practical ethical implications throughout Scripture.
